(More customer reviews)I love this lamp!It has the best precision dimmer I've ever experienced built into the base.It's halogen bulb adjusts smoothly from a very bright natural light that's great for reading down to beautiful mood lighting.I own a couple now as I've grown addicted to the quality of the reading light, the precision of the dimmer and its compact size.It was specifically designed for the "aging eye" that needs brighter task lighting but you don't have to have old eyes to appreciate it.It's heirloom quality, solidly built, well worth the price.
