I was impressed how the lamp was packaged for shipping at the factory-everything was bubble wrapped, or styrofoam protected inside a double box. Set up itself was simple. Quoizel offers a lifetime warrantee against electrical defects. The lamp is more expensive, but you get what you pay for.very pleased with my purchase--
