(More customer reviews)The lamp would not assemble in a straight, upright manner.Attempts to gently bend it into line did not work.After a few tries -- and I can't overstate how lightly I pushed -- the screw assembly broke off the frame.It was hopeless at that point.
I was dissatisfied with the lamp, its poor quality and the assembly hassles involved.So I sent it back for a refund.Lamps Plus would not payreturn shipping, just as they did not pay for original shipping to me.(They would have paid for all shipping if I had exchanged the broken one with a replacement.)So I was out $120 shipping and have no lamp.
I wrote to their customer service address and got no reply.I learned my lesson: buy lamps locally.
