I have never been known as a methodical follower of directions, and this was definitely part of my problem. Every time I went wrong, I went back to the instructions and could determine the error of my ways. Everything was there on the (many many sheets of ) paper. It was just kind of, um, obscure. The instructions are not exactly laid out step by step. It is more like a diagram with a few steps on it, and on the picture it looks like they all happen simultaneously. There are no warnings where the manufacturere says - MAKE SURE you use the side with the larger holes or DON'T try to put the camlocks in before the screws. That kind of stuff helps me. Because I had to go backwards several times. In the end, I was proud of my finished piece and happy with the purchase. The instructions could be better for people who don't do stuff like this all the time.
