(More customer reviews)I purchased this light kit to replace the original pendant fixture over my kitchen breakfast island.The Royce Focus series provides much of what we want for this application.Once installed, it really does add to the room, and provides a stylish focal point.The finish on the metal is very nice, and the glass globes have a nice tint to them, casting a warm glow when illuminated.

However, I only gave this product two stars, and the reasons for this are:
1. Very time-consuming to assemble, and not forgiving of errors.If you cut the pendant cords too short, or have problems cleanly stripping the wires, there is no way to lengthen them again.
2. Extremely thin insulation on wiring to junction box, resulting in a short circuit to ground after assembly (the wire was apparently nicked by the included mounting bracket).I over-wrapped the live wire with insulating heat-shrink tubing in order to prevent the short from re-appearing later.
3. Even though the photo shows that the track can be bent, this is not practical (and I would not advise it).The track is an aluminum extrusion, and the two live wires run through insulated channels in the track.Bending the aluminum would be difficult, and not easy to correct if done wrong.It will not bend in an S-curve, but will only bend at sharp angles.We chose to leave the track straight to avoid issues with bending.
4. The pendants are connected to pieces of metal tube which hang from the track by a piece of thick 3-conductor power cord, similar to what you use to plug in a computer.The cord was folded up in the packaging, and has been very resistant to becoming straight again.It looks cheap.
5. The bulb (40W halogen) included with the kit is not commonly available.I was not able to find a spare in my local big-box hardware store, so I may have to order one to keep it handy.

Overall, the money I may have saved on this was easily used up in time spent during installation.Now that it's done, I'm happy enough with the results, but I won't buy one of these again.
