(More customer reviews)I have three major issues with this product.

1)Design:The light is above the water by quite a lot, meaning you not only loose part of the benefit of having a halide bulb, but you also light up the rest of the room to a considerable degree, much more than other halide lamps.(A halide living room light is too bright for my taste.)

2)Construction:The product was cheaply built.Almost everything is built out of plastic, and the clamp and arm feel rather weak.I've ordered other products from this brand and I've decided that this is a general theme of this brand.I would not recommend anything from JBJ.

3)Costumer service:I've tried contacting the company about a few problems and I haven't heard anything back from them after considerable time.

Overall impression:Go with a different company.
