(More customer reviews)Our house came with a Panama I fan in the bedroom (last owners put it in) and we were very impressed with the quality
and silence of it. We then installed a Casablanca Stealth fan (with the W62 wireless remote) in our media room, which was
also smooth and silent, but the included overhead 100 watt halogen light was less than useful for room lighting.

That brings us to the Panama II, which I installed in my wife's office, same smooth silence as the Panama I,
same W62 remote as the Stealth ( which makes installation easy since you don't have to fish wires down into the wall
for a manual switch ) and it looks great in Brushed Nickel ( matches our wall and floor lamps ).

Since light fixture wiring is included inside the fan body, adding a light is easy. I found that cheap ($25)
pendant fixtures from Home Depot and Loew's ( search Halophane at their websites ) work beautifully with a clear 60 watt
fan bulb (the max rated for the fixture.) Not a lot of light but enough for ambient lighting and security lighting
with the Security feature. The Brushed Nickel finish matches very well. ( see photos ).

I really like the classic design and modern finish, and I'd recommend the remote control model Panama II to any
do it yourself installer.
