(More customer reviews)We purchased this unit because of Friedrich's reputation for quality. And I am not disappointed with the quality of this unit. It feels and looks super solid and it pushes out a MASSIVE amount of frigid air. But, the down side to that massive amount of air is that it is incredibly loud. The unit does push out enough air to keep most of our house cool, but I would think twice about installing it in a main living area. Also, it's really heavy, not something that you want to be pulling in and out of your window every year. Overall not a bad purchase, I was just not expecting it to be as loud as it is. Also for the price, I would expect a few more features like a remote control, and a remote temperature sensor.
